Readiness for self-feeding 3/7

Readiness for self-feeding 3/7 || When children are ready to start practicing independent eating and drinking, they show it with different signals.

If your child is ready to eat independently, he/she can show it in the following way:

👶🏻 Preferences. The child has favourite foods and gives the parent clear messages about what foods he/she wants and does not want. These preferences can vary on a daily basis!

More signals coming soon! 👋🏼

Resource: book, Pre-Feeding Skills, Second edition 2000, Susanne Evans Morris PH.D, CCC-SLP & Marsha Dunn Klein M.ED, OTR/L.
